Jakub Zeman is a student and teacher in the Fighting Monkey research project. Drawing on 18 years of research and experience across disciplines (martial arts, sports, dance, gymnastics, contact improvisation, parkour...), Jakub uses Fighting Monkey techniques and tools to create meaningful multidisciplinary connections and facilitate experiences that stimulate human development. He combines aspects of physicality, communication, relating to the environment and social interactions, which together form the best foundation for learning.
Under the guidance of the founders of FM (Linda Kapetanea and Jozef Fruček), Jakub is further enriching his pedagogical portfolio with the aim of offering assistance in creating relevant supportive practice for people from various domains. So that they can cultivate skills relevant to their unique context. So that they can become more independent, discover new possibilities in their development and develop a unique vocabulary in movement and overall interaction with the surrounding environment.
