Budil Production is an artistic and educational background that connects European theater traditions with a modern creative approach. We are based on the Jacques Lecoq Method and the creative legacy of Philippe Genty, where founder Vendulka Burger worked for several years.
We work with beginning and professional artists who are looking for their own direction, deeper expressive possibilities and a way to apply themselves on the international stage.
Our projects connect study, creation and the social dimension of theater.
Our work is based on long-term pedagogical, acting and directing practice at home and abroad. We cooperate with a number of theater companies, festivals and institutions that share an interest in high-quality physical and visual theater. In our projects, we connect art, education and social issues.
Course participants appreciate the personal approach, safe creative environment and emphasis on practical experience. We help artists find their own voice, develop physical and emotional expression, and transfer it to the stage and into everyday life. The experiences of our students and graduates are our most valuable reference.
