Budil Theatre School focuses on the body as the actor’s primary creative instrument. Our training explores movement, rhythm, space, mask work and improvisation as fundamental tools of theatrical expression.
The educational approach is rooted in the French Jacques Lecoq Method and in the principles of visual theatre developed by Philippe Genty, where actors, objects and materials interact as equal partners on stage. The curriculum is further enriched by the diverse backgrounds of our teachers, integrating practices from contemporary dance, physical theatre, acting, acrobatics, yoga and martial arts.
Professional courses abroad – we build on international cooperation and help participants navigate their studies in Europe.
One-week summer workshop – intensive meetings of professional and aspiring artists (often from different countries) focused on a specific topic and collective creation.
Training for companies and institutions – soft-skills training, creative development and psycho-hygiene through theatre, suitable for managers, teachers, teams in helping professions and work collectives that want to strengthen communication and creativity.
Regular courses – year-round study in Prague, suitable for those who want to use the Jacques Lecoq Method in continuous work.
Specialized seminars – preparatory and follow-up education without age restrictions.
Preparation for entrance exams – individual support for successful admission to art schools.
