Studying the Jacques Lecoq Method

The Jacques Lecoq Method emphasizes the body as the actor's main tool. In our courses, we work with movement, rhythm, space, mask and improvisation.

The study is open to both beginners and experienced artists who want to deepen their physical and stage work.

The program is built on practical exercises, creative assignments and joint reflection. Participants explore various types of stage expression, from physical theatre to visual images to working with text. We emphasize personal search, collective creation and the development of sensitivity to oneself and partners on stage.

The Jacques Lecoq Method is fundamentally based on the dynamics of movement. It employs the body as the first element that identifies with everything that moves - in life and in the theatre.

The teaching applies the basic laws of movement for dramatic creation and acting interpretation. It explores the theatrical styles established in the history of theatre and transforms them into the perception of contemporary life. The teaching becomes a living support for the students - which goes beyond forms - in harmony with the constant rhythm of life.

The school seeks the theatre of human nature through various styles, plays, perspectives, languages.

The teaching becomes a two-year journey that sets obstacles for students that provoke their creative qualities and helps them develop and find their own path.

WARNING: The Jacques Lecoq Method is protected by the license of the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School!
