Studio Citadela - a cultural and social center organizes theater and dance performances, concerts, workshops, acting courses, movement and dance exercises and other art studios, art exhibitions, community meetings and creative activities for the public. (Permanent residents include, for example, the Bohnice Theater Company - an experimental theater company with an inclusive focus, and the Budil Theater School.)
Our cooperation dates back to 2012 with successful joint mutually enriching projects.
Traditional "Theater Awakening" / "Divadelní Buzení" - a showcase of BDŠ students' work
Since 2018, cooperation has been regular in organizing specific seminars, year-round courses and taster workshops of BDŠ and continues to this day.
BDŠ students are also taught by foreign lecturers.
BDŠ director Vendulka Burger Budilová has long cooperated with Studio Citadela and its Bohnice Theater Company not only in creating new performances, but also at the European level.
She has participated in the international PASS project (supported by the Creative Europe programme, which focuses on inclusive performing arts) twice, primarily as a choreographer and movement creator using the principles of the Jacques Lecoq method in an inclusive context:
We All Come From Somewhere (2020) – a film/digital theatre piece that deals with the themes of migration and difference through international cooperation.
